Don't believe everything you read on the Internet — especially on April 1. Check out the best pranks the web had to offer this April Fool's Day, and share your favorites below.
Gotcha, Seacrest: Ryan Seacrest is a favorite target of Joel McHale's, so naturally the Soup snarker went after the American Idol host, "hacking" his Twitter account and his website with doctored photos of Joel-as-Ryan. Among the revelations: "In case u ever want to hack Ryan, his password is 'thirdnipple'."
Bieber or Die: To the delight of tween girls worldwide, Funny or Die becomes Bieber or Die. "Justin Bieber has decided to buy Funny or Die and do with it whatever his tiny little heart desires," reads a message on the site. And what does Bieber do? "I'm a star. I do what stars do," the 16-year-old sensation says in clip titled "Bieber Takes Over." "I ride on yachts. I autograph lady lumps. And I pay people to slap them."

Topeka That: Google changes its name to Topeka in honor of Topeka, Kan. Last month, Topeka mayor Bill Bunten unofficially renamed the city Google as part of a tactic to convince the search giant to pick the city as part of a test site for high-speed networks.
College Humor's Two-for-One Special: The comedy site redirects to a warning page that tells us CollegeHumor.com is "under investigation for "harboring un-American sentiment" and will be offline. It may have also been "offline" because the pranksters were out in New York announcing the arrival of In-N-Out Burger.
Watch videos of Brooke Burke
Baby for Brooke Burke: The Dancing with the Stars co-host tells Modern Mom that she's expecting baby No. 5. "The joke was over when my MOM called me at my office to ask if I am Pregnant!" she later tweeted. "The answer is a big Fat NO!" Four is enough for Burke for now.
ABC's New Lineup: Sad Lost is going off the air soon? No worries! The Blind Sayid (tagline: "Football is torture") is coming to a small screen near you. The drama joins new series W (the series that happens after V), the very revealing FlasherForward, the sure-to-rule Dancing with the Tsars and Brothers & Sisters — featuring monks and nuns.
