Bellamy Young will appear in at least two more episodes of Criminal Minds next season.
As TV Line first reported, the Scandal actress will reprise her role as Beth Clemmons in the upcoming eighth season of the CBS procedural. Young joined Criminal Minds last December when she was brought in as a love interest for Agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson).

The actress, who is about to start her first season as a series regular on Scandal, is happy her schedule allowed to return and wrap up the romantic story line. "I was afraid that I wouldn't get to say goodbye, so I was so thrilled that [Scandal showrunner] Shonda [Rhimes], bless her heart, let me do a few more shows over [on Criminal Minds]," Young told TV Line. "I just got the [season premiere] script and the story line is lovely and warm and positive.... I can't want to see where it goes!"
Criminal Minds returns on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 9/8c on CBS.
