Although Shake It Up's CeCe Jones struggles with Dyslexia, fans may not realize the actress who plays her has the learning disability as well.
"I had a tough time in school," star Bella Thorne tells us. "[Kids] see how CeCe gets through it like I did, and a lot of them actually write me."
Disney unveils new programming with familiar faces, rising stars
The Disney series follows best friends CeCe and Rocky (Zendaya Coleman) as they realize their dreams by being cast on a dance show, Shake It Up Chicago. Zendaya says that although the series is about having fun and letting loose, she appreciates that viewers can look at a character and see themselves.
