Who's Causing Problems for Catherine on Beauty and the Beast?

Covert Affairs alum Sendhil Ramamurthy has been cast in a recurring role on Beauty and the Beast, TVGuide.com has learned.
Ramamurthy will play Gabe, a new assistant district attorney who has spearheaded the search for the town's vigilante (aka Jay Ryan's Vincent).

"He's super ambitious and power hungry and it'll be another obstacle [for Kristin Kreuk's Catherine]," executive producer Sherri Cooper told us. "And, of course, he'll be dashing and charismatic. He'll juice things up."
Ramamurthy will first appear in the 15th episode of the CW series, which returns on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 9/8c.
