Beau Bridges has joined the ever-growing cast of NBC's Rockford Files remake, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Dermot Mulroney is the new Jim Rockford
Bridges, 68, will play Rocky, a truck driver who advises his son, Jim, and helps him out of tough situations. It was recently announced that Dermot Mulroney will star as Jim Rockford, and Firefly's Alan Tudyk will play Jim's friend, LAPD Sgt. Dennis Becker.

The pilot for the new series was written and executive produced by House creator David Shore and executive produced by Steve Carell.
