Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch Cancer-Free; Album Back on Schedule

Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch is cancer-free and the rap trio is on track to release its next album, group member Mike D. told BBC Radio 1.
"We're really happy about it," Mike D. said about Yauch's health.
Yauch, 44, was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his left salivary gland in July 2009,

Part 1 of the group's album, Hot Sauce Committee, is still incomplete following Yauch's cancer battle, but Mike D. said the second part will come out this spring as originally scheduled.
Up next for the New York-based group is a big music video.
"I know people don't make big videos any more, but we made a big video," he said. "It's not even a video, it's a film-eo. A cinematic, short film."
