Michael Bay

Michael Bay is making his first foray into television with a new adventure reality series.

The Transformers director, whose credits include Armageddon and Pearl Harbor, will co-produce One Way Out. It pits ordinary people against each other as they try to keep their pasts hidden and will build toward a showdown where all secrets will be revealed, according to Variety.

"For my first television project I wanted to do something that had never been done before, and I believe that One Way Out accomplishes that," Bay said. "Combining unique twists, death-defying challenges, and stunning visuals, we are reinventing the genre, showing just how far people will go when they are stripped of their bare necessities and forced to do whatever it takes to survive."

The 45-year-old Bay and co-producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz of Magical Elves Inc. (Top Chef, Project Runway) are pitching the show to several networks.
