Michael Hogan and Lucy Lawless

SPOILER ALERT

Holy motherfrakker! We heard from Sci Fi that the last Cylon would be revealed in an early episode of the final season, but who knew it would be the very first?!

Friday's premiere episode of Battlestar Galactica had many other shocking moments: The new human-Cylon partnership finally reached Earth, only to find a burnt-out nuclear wasteland. Both races were devastated. Later, Kara "Starbuck" Thrace and Leoben searched for the source of the weak signal that guided them to Earth, which ended up being the wreckage of Starbuck's raptor, which contained a dead body that is a dead ringer for her! WTF?!

Amidst all the devastation, President Roslin (Mary McDonnell) shut down, Admiral Adama (Edward James Olmos) turned to the bottle for solace, and Dee (Kandyse McClure) reconnected with her ex-husband, Lee (Jamie Bamber) — just before she blew her brains out, that is. OMG!

So, by the time we reached the final scene of the episode, it seemed like nothing more could shock us. Except! The last Cylon was revealed! It's Tigh's presumed-dead wife, Ellen! And we still have nine frakkin' episodes to go!
