BBC America has acquired the rights to distribute 80 hours -- including the four seasons and the two-part miniseries -- of the sci-fi program that originally aired on Syfy (then called Sci Fi) in 2005.

The series will premiere on BBC America on Saturday, June 18 at 7/6c as part of the channel's Supernatural Saturday linuep.

Battlestar Galactica won Emmys for sound editing and visual effects. The show was also honored with a Peabody Award for excellence in radio and television broadcasting.
