From Washington to Hollywood: Obama to Appear on the Tonight Show
Barack Obama, Jay Leno
President Obama will break from the halls of Washington Thursday to sit down with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.
The president plans to discuss the economy, White House officials told the New York Times, during a trip to Southern California. His will be the first-ever interview with a president on a late night show.
When asked if Obama would be funny, an official promised he'd be "[a]s funny as the times allow."
Obama previously visited The Tonight Show in 2007, during the presidential campaign. Will you tune to see him the second time around? And is Leno's show a good place to talk politics?
