Aziz Ansari Has Tense Exchange With Audience Member at Stand-Up Gig

Aziz Ansari

Aziz Ansari exchanged tense words with an audience member who asked what he thought to be a "racist" question at a stand-up gig, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The Parks and Recreation star, 28, made a surprise appearance Friday at a Los Angeles comedy club and took questions from the crowd. Things got heated when an audience member asked, "Why don't you have a red dot on your forehead?"

A shocked Ansari asked the woman why she didn't have the word "c--- on her forehead," and made a comment about how there are still "racist" people in the world.

Aside from that interaction, Ansari's short set touched on dating, the "dumb" teenagers from MTV shows and what he looks for in a girl ("she has to like Breaking Bad").

Ansari will next appear in the film 30 Minutes or Less, which hits theaters this week.
