Asiana Flight 214
A girl who had been in intensive care since last Saturday's Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crash has died, CNN reports. No information was released about the girl except that she was a minor.
The crash had already claimed two other victims, both 16-year old girls from China. One of them was hit on the runway by a fire truck, but it's unclear whether she was dead when she was struck, San Francisco police spokesman Albie Esparza said. When the truck struck the victim, it was using flame retardant that ended up covering the area surrounding the plane with foam, thick enough to obscure a body.

"When the truck repositioned itself to get a better aim of the fuselage, they discovered the body of the victim in the fresh track from the path of the truck," Esparza said.
"Right now, we are waiting results from the coroner to determine if she died from the crash or the fire engine going over her," he continued. "And that will be part of our investigations, like any other case, by our hit-and-run and major accidents investigations teams."
Only a handful of those injured in the crash remain hospitalized, including two adults at San Francisco General with spinal cord injuries, abdominal injuries, internal bleeding, road rash and fractures.
The NTSB is still investigating what caused the crash and who, if anyone, was to blame.
