Navid Negahban

Homeland star Navid Negahban has landed a guest-starring role on Arrow, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Best known for playing infamous villain Abu Nazir, Negahban will play Al-Owal, a member of Ra's Al Ghul's League of Assassins, which connects him to Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). E! Online first reported the news.

The Killing's Bex Taylor-Klaus heads to Arrow

Negahban will appear in Episode 5, joining previously cast newcomers Summer Glau, Caity Lotz, Michael Jai White and Kevin Alejandro for the second season.

Arrow's second season kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c on The CW.
