Law & Order's Annie Parisse Heads to The Following

Annie Parisse

Law & Order star Annie Parisse is joining the cast of Fox's serial killer drama The Following as an FBI cult specialist, the network announced Friday.

Parisse's character, Debra Parker, will work with former FBI profiler Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) to investigate serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), who escapes from death row and continues his killing spree. Along the way, they discover he has a cult of followers who perpetrate copycat crimes around the country.

Parisse starred on As the World Turns and played assistant district attorney Alexandra Borgia on Law & Order.

The Following will premiere midseason.
