Anne Heche is officially divorced after a lengthy two-year battle with her ex, Coley Laffoon, People reports. The actress and Laffoon reached a settlement Wednesday over custody and assets.
"Anne is relieved this case is over, and is looking forward to getting on with her life and career," said her attorney, Daniel Jaffe.
Under the terms, Heche and Laffoon will split physical and legal custody of their 7-year-old son, Homer. Heche will pay Laffoon, a cameraman, $3,700 a month in child support, as they agreed in June. She will also pay him a lump sum of $515,000.
Laffoon will receive half of their property and more than $700,000 worth of stocks and other assets. Heche will retain her home in Vancouver.
Heche and Laffoon wed in 2001 after meeting during a taping of a comedy special for Heche's ex-girlfriend, Ellen DeGeneres. Laffoon filed for divorce in February 2007. Heche is currently expecting a baby boy with her boyfriend, ex-Men In Trees costar James Tupper.
