Ann Curry became the first Western journalist to interview Iranian President Hassan Rouhani since he was elected earlier this year.

The former Today co-anchor wore a headscarf during her conversation with Rouhani, in which she questioned the Iranian leader about nuclear weapons, whether he believed the Holocaust was "a myth" and Israel.
When asked whether he wanted to wipe Israel off the map, he said, "What we wish for in this country is rule by the will of the people. We believe in the ballot box. We do not seek war with any country."
