NBC to Replace Animal Practice with Whitney

Whitney will return for its second season on Wednesday, Nov. 14, NBC announced Thursday. It will take over the timeslot previously held by freshman comedy Animal Practice.
Community, Whitney premiere dates delayed
Animal Practice will continue airing on Wednesdays at 8/7c until Whitney premieres. The sophomore comedy stars Whitney Cummings and Chris D'Elia.
After the network announced they were postponing the returns of Whitney and Community (originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 19), there was speculation both series would move to the more popular Wednesday night, replacing the struggling Animal Practice and Guys with Kids. However, there's still no word on when Community will return.
