The reality series follows Tia Maria Torres, who, with the help of her daughters Mariah and Tania and twin sons "Moe" and Kanani, runs the Villalobos Rescue Center for "bully breed" dogs. She also started the Underdawgz program, which hires parolees to aid with her rescue efforts.

The February finale of the show was the series' most-watched episode ever with 1.3 million viewers and it's the network's most watched series among the 18-49 demo.
The 16-episode fifth season will premiere in the fall.
