Andy Samberg to Star in New Sitcom From Parks and Rec Creators

Andy Samberg is having no trouble finding work after leaving Saturday Night Live. The actor has landed a starring role in an upcoming comedy pilot from Parks and Recreation co-creator and showrunner Mike Schur and executive producer Dan Goor, Deadline reports.
The untitled Fox project is about a group of detectives working outside New York City. Samberg will play the main character and will also produce the series.

Samberg announced he was leaving Saturday Night Live this summer after seven years on the sketch show. He's also starring on the BBC Three comedy series Cuckoo.
