Rescue Me's Andrea Roth Joins Blue Bloods

Andrea Roth is going from being married to a firefighter to dating the chief of police.
Roth, best known for her role as Janet Gavin on Rescue Me, has been tapped to play Tom Selleck's love interest in the new CBS cop drama Blue Bloods, according to Entertainment Weekly. She will replace Wendy Moniz, who was dropped for creative reasons, EW reported.

Roth and Selleck will reshoot the pilot scenes that featured Moniz. A rep for the show could not be immediately reached for comment.
Roth is currently appearing opposite Denis Leary in the sixth season of Rescue Me on FX. Her other TV credits include Lost, Criminal Minds and Dark Blue.
