Anderson Cooper has inked a new deal with CNN to stay on the network through the 2016 presidential election, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cooper, 46, will continue to anchor his nightly show Anderson Cooper 360. He'll also continue to provide on-the-scene reporting for the network, in addition to contributing to 60 Minutes as part of his long-term deal with CBS.

Earlier this year, Cooper was approached by NBC for a possible role on Today, but turned it down.
