Fans of Pia Toscano, mourn no more.

The American Idol finalist, who finished ninth last season, has signed a recording contract with Idol mentor Jimmy Iovine's Interscope Records, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Producer: Pia Toscano is making a "big, diva-sounding record"

"I am thrilled to be joining the Interscope and 19 Recordings family," Toscano says in a statement. "[Interscope Geffen A&M Chairman] Jimmy Iovine was an amazing mentor during my time on Idol and I'm looking forward to working with him and everyone at Interscope Records and 19 Recordings. This is a dream come true."

Her debut single, "This Time," drops on July 12. The song is an acoustic guitar- and beat-driven track written by Esther Dean, who also wrote Rihanna's "Rude Boy" and "What's My Name."
