Teddy Sears Joins American Horror Story

Teddy Sears has joined the cast of American Horror Story, Deadline.com reports.
Sears, who recently appeared on Torchwood: Miracle Day, will play half of the gay couple — Heroes' alum Zachary Quinto will portray the other half — who previously owned the haunted house that Ben and Vivien Harmon (Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton) move into in the pilot episode.

Sears and Quinto will first appear in Part 1 of the show's pair of Halloween episodes, scheduled to air Wednesday, Oct. 26. The second part is set to air on Halloween.
Sears joins a burgeoning cast including Jamie Harris, Jessica Lange, Denis O'Hare, Frances Conroy and Eric Close on the haunted-house drama.
American Horror Story premieres Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 10/9c on FX.
