American Horror Story: Asylum Sets Premiere Date
American Horror Story: Asylum
Are you ready to get committed? American Horror Story: Asylum will return to FX on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 10/9c.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the second installment of the drama will move away from the ghost-heavy plot of Season 1. This time around, viewers can expect to encounter aliens, Nazis and a serial killer named Bloody Face. Oh, and did we mention ol' Bloody Face wears a mask made out of skin, a black nightie and opera-length gloves? Only Ryan Murphy could make this stuff up.

Asylum takes place in the depths of Briarcliff, a mental institution run by Sister Jude (Jessica Lange). Zachary Quinto returns as Dr. Thredson, whose progressive ways clash with Jude's philosophy. James Cromwell plays the possible Nazi Dr. Arden who uses the patients as his own never-ending supply of test subjects. Evan Peters plays inmate and extra-terrestrial believer Kit, who'll be subjected to Sister Jude's unorthodox punishments. Lily Rabe, Joseph Fiennes, Adam Levine, Jenna Dewan, Sarah Paulson and Chloe Sevigny also star.
The FX drama has been building anticipation for the second installment of the Emmy-nominated miniseries by releasing a series of bone-chilling teasers on Facebook. Watch the latest, "Bandages," below.
