Report: Amanda Bynes' Driver's License Suspended After Hit-and-Run Charges

Amanda Bynes will be off the road for a bit. Her driver's license has been suspended after she was charged with two hit-and-runs earlier this week, The Los Angeles Times reports.

DMV officials refused to specify why her driver's license was suspended or when the suspension first took effect.

Amanda Bynes charged with two hit-and-runs

The All That actress, 26, was charged with a DUI after authorities claimed she hit a sheriff's cruiser on April 6 in West Hollywood and refused a Breathalyzer or blood-alcohol test. However, she pleaded guilty through her attorney and denied the claims via Twitter on May 27. "I was not in any hit and runs. I don't drink so the DUI is false," she wrote. She also tweeted to President Barack Obama, asking his help to get her arresting officer fired.

Hit-and-run charges were filed for incidents on April 10 and Aug. 4, the latter in which another motorist claimed Bynes rear-ended and damaged her car but drove off before giving her insurance and contact information. Bynes claimed that she and the driver agreed there was no significant damage done to the car, but investigators later determined that was about $800 in damages done.
