Alec Baldwin "Completely Fine" After Hospitalization

Alec Baldwin was briefly hospitalized early Thursday morning because of what his rep called a "misunderstanding."
"This was a misunderstanding on one person's part," Baldwin rep Matthew Hiltzik said in a statement. "Alec was quickly released from the hospital. He's completely fine and will be at work today."

Hiltzik did not offer any other details.
Baldwin, 51, was taken to New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital after someone made a 911 call saying that the 30 Rock star was "unresponsive," according to WNBC. The news report said the caller was believed to be Baldwin's 14-year-old daughter, Ireland.
Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin to co-host 2010 Academy Awards
Baldwin is scheduled to co-host the 82nd Academy Awards with his It's Complicated co-star Steve Martin on March 7.
