Alec Baldwin Brings Daughter as SAG Awards Date

Alec Baldwin brought the 13-year-old daughter he once denounced as a "rude, thoughtless little pig" to the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and they looked as happy together as pigs in mud.
Except that they were much cleaner. Daughter Ireland, wearing an elegant black dress, walked the red carpet with Baldwin and received a kiss from him after he won outstanding TV comedy actor for 30 Rock for the third year in a row.
Though Baldwin didn't single out his daughter in his acceptance speech, he did give her a shout-out two weeks ago when he won at the Golden Globes, thanking her for "making me laugh while I'm at home."
The SAGs marked father and daughter's first public appearance together since the April 2007 leak of a voicemail in which Baldwin lashed out at his then-11-year-old because she missed a court-appointed phone call with him.
Baldwin later apologized on his website, saying he was stressed out by his custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger. "I'm sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child," he wrote. "I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now. You have to go through this to understand. (Although I hope you never do.) I am sorry for what happened."
