Alanis Morissette is being sued by a former nanny who claims the "Ironic" singer effectively held her hostage, TMZ.com reports.
Bianca Cambeiro was employed by Morissette and her husband, Mario Treadway, from August 2011 to March 2013 to care for their newborn son, Ever. In her lawsuit, Cambeiro alleges that she worked 12-hour shifts during which time she was not allowed to leave the baby's room ever, even to eat.

Cambeiro says she was only allowed out of the room if Morissette or Treadway was also in the room, or when the day-shift nanny came to relieve her of her duties.
Cambeiro says she was denied $30,000 in unpaid overtime and other wages, and is also suing for an additional $100,000 for emotional distress.
