Aisha Tyler Nabs Talk Show Pilot

Actress-comedian Aisha Tyler has scored a talk show pilot on ABC, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Dubbed The Aisha Tyler Show, the youth-centric chatfest will be a hybrid of daytime and late-night talk show fare, and will feature comedic political commentary. Trying to give Jimmy Fallon a run for his money, Tyler's show will also be fully wired, allowing viewers to communicate with her via Facebook, Twitter and other social media.
Tyler is reportedly being developed for syndication or cable, but there is speculation it could land in ABC's soap-heavy daytime lineup.
The pilot will begin production shortly.
Tyler, who was a regular on Ghost Whisperer, was last seen on her February Comedy Central special Aisha Tyler Is Lit: Live at the Fillmore.
