Jon Shea

John Shea, who played famed villain Lex Luthor on Lois & Clark, has been tapped to star opposite Sharon Stone in the TNT action-drama pilot Agent X, TVGuide.com has learned.

Shea will play President Eckhart, the new commander-in-chief of the United States. Eckhart is a Southern politician who has selected Natalie Maccabee (Stone) to be his Vice President. But Natalie will quickly discover that things in the White House aren't exactly what she expected. Natalie finds out it's her duty to protect the Constitution in times of crisis with the help of her Chief Steward and secret operative, Agent X.

Sharon Stone to star in TNT pilot Agent X

William Blake Herron (The Bourne Identity) penned the pilot, which is being executive-produced by Armyan Bernstein (Air Force One).

Shea's other television credits also include playing Blair's dad on Gossip Girl and Cary's dad on The Good Wife.
