Report: Adele May Face Fine After Failing to Register Baby

Adele

She may be a new mom, but Adele may have already forgot one very important step of the child-rearing process: registering your baby!

The "Rumor Has It" singer and her fiancé, Simon Konecki, allegedly failed to register —or make an appointment to register — their new addition within the 42-day limit, according to Britain's The Sun.

It's been 51 days since Adele reportedly gave birth, and the couple faces a maximum fine of 1,000 British pounds. The newspaper reports that the couple will soon likely receive warning letters, and if the birth hasn't been registered within three months, the registrar becomes liable and can be fined.

Adele announced her pregnancy back in June before giving birth sometime this fall, but few other details are known about her newborn son, including his name.
