Accidentally on Purpose has been picked up for five more episodes by CBS, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
CBS' order leaves the freshman comedy four episodes short of a 22-episode full season pickup. The show stars Jenna Elfman as a woman who becomes pregnant after a one-night stand with a younger man.

The news follows Accidentally on Purpose's Nov. 2 airing, which nabbed its second-biggest audience with 8.54 million viewers and its best rating so far in the 18-to-34 demo with a 2.6 rating.
The show has proved to be a solid addition to CBS' Monday night comedy block of How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory since it premiered on Sept. 21 to 8.9 million viewers.
