J.J. Abrams Going for Laughs with Fox Sitcom

Lost and Fringe mastermind J.J. Abrams will next take a stab at comedy with a half-hour sitcom for Fox, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
As with all Abrams projects, details of the as-yet-untitled series, described as a "comedic medical show," are being kept under wraps. Fox has already ordered a presentation.

Abrams and Bryan Burk will executive-produce the show under Abrams' Bad Robot banner. Mike Markowitz, who has written for Becker and It's All Relative, will pen the script.
