David Hasselhoff, Bob Saget and Tony Danza Head to A&E for New Series

A&E is calling on David Hasselhoff, Bob Saget and Tony Danza for celebrity reality series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The cable channel has ordered an untitled project featuring Hasselhoff as he tries to help his two daughters break into the recording industry. The 10-episode season will air in the fall.

Strange Days with Bob Saget will showcase the comic participating in unusual cultures, practices and occupations. The cable channel has ordered six episodes of the series, which will premiere later this year.

Tony Danza will return to TV for the first time since his failed daytime chat fest for the series Teach: Tony Danza. The series, which will run for seven episodes, will show the Who's the Boss? star teaching English at a Philadelphia high school.

A&E will also put the spotlight on Twisted Sister's Dee Snider and his family in the series Growing Up Twisted.

And following the success of Intervention, A&E has ordered the spinoff Intervention in Depth: One Man in Rehab. It follows sober companions' struggle to stay clean months after an invention. I'm Heavy, a companion series to Intervention, will chronicle overeating patients going through a six-month treatment program.

Among scripted plans, the cable channel intends to develop Robin Cook's 1977 thriller, Coma.
