ABC Signs Up for Family Business

ABC

ABC wants to do business with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia — or with its writers at least. The network has bought a half-hour comedy from Sunny writers Sonny Lee and Patrick Walsh, according to Variety.

Family Business will focus on a dysfunctional Midwestern clan that attempts to keep running its grocery business together after a divorce. Grey's Anatomy's Mark Gordon is attached as executive producer on the multicamera sitcom.

Lee and Walsh will also stay on as producers for Sunny's upcoming fifth season, which premieres Sept. 17 at 10/9c on FX.
