Without a Trace star Anthony LaPaglia has landed the lead in ABC's Americana drama pilot.
The soap is set around legendary fashion designer Robert Soulter (LaPaglia) and his family and business. Michael Seitzman wrote the pilot and will executive-produce with Grey's Anatomy's Mark Gordon.

John Leguizamo was also cast as the lead in ABC's Only Fools and Horses comedy pilot, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Deadline first reported the news.
Based on the British series, Fools will star Leguizamo (ER, House of Buggin' ) as one of two streetwise brothers who, along with their aging grandfather, concoct outrageous and morally questionable get-rich-quick schemes in their quest to become millionaires. Happy Endings and Scrubs scribes Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley will write and executive-produce.
