Sea of Fire, which hails from Off the Map's Jenna Bans, is based on the Danish series Vuurzee. When three teenage girls star in a pornographic film, it tears their families apart and leads to a disappearance, a murder and host of other secrets boiling under the surface in a small town. The project is a joint production between ABC Studios and Sony from Mandeville and Scripted World.

Deadline first reported the pilot orders.
