Formerly titled Safe and Hall of Mirrors, Missing follows a former CIA agent who travels to Europe to find her son after he disappears in Italy while abroad for an internship. The project was written by Greg Poirier (National Treasure: Book of Secrets) and is executive-produced by Gina Matthews and Grant Scharbo (The Gates).
ABC orders Pan Am, Edgar Allan Poe pilots
The network is also in the midst of ordering pilots for the 2011-12 season. On Wednesday, ABC ordered the half-hour comedy Other People's Kids to pilot. The project centers on an carefree 32-year-old who suddenly finds himself straddled with responsibility when he falls for an older woman with two kids, an ex-husband and ex-in-laws.
The pilot was written by Hunter Covington (100 Questions). Stacy Traub (Notes From the Underbelly) and Peter Traugott (Samantha Who?) are executive producers.
