ABC orders drama series Missing for summer
The network has given the green light to two comedy pilots, My Frickin' Family and Bad Mom.
Family follows two young parents whose lives change once their respective parents, who come from very different cultural backgrounds, come into the picture and try to fight for the soul of their grandchild. Peter Traugott (Samantha Who?), who is also attached to ABC's Other People's Kids, will executive-produce.
ABC orders Pan Am, Edgar Allan Poe pilots
Bad Mom centers on Julia Lacey, who has let her children be raised by her own mother, Marian. Now that Marian wants her life back, Julia will be faced with trying to be the best mom in the world. Aaron Kaplan (Terra Nova) will executive-produce.
