Pilot Season: Odette Annable and Bruce Greenwood Join ABC's Venice

Odette Annable

Odette Annable and Bruce Greenwood have joined the cast of ABC's Venice, TVGuide.com has learned.

The pilot is a modern take on Romeo & Juliet that pits the two rival families of California's most seductive beachside city against each other. Greenwood will play Gordy Nance, the most powerful man in Venice and the head of the Nance family. Annable will portray his daughter, Sophie Nance, who owns a hip boutique in Venice and is in love with Chris Carver, the son of the rival family headed up by Lisa Carver (Jennifer Beals).

Annable previously starred on Fox's Breaking In and House and will appear in CBS' new series Golden Boy, while Greenwood's credits include The River and the big-screen Star Trek.

Without a Trace's Byron Balasco will write and executive-produce the project with McG.
