The comedy, which is based on Winkler's relationship with his son-in-law, would center on a construction worker who learns about love and life while living with his in-laws.
Winkler is best known for playing the too-cool Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli on the '50s-set sitcom Happy Days. His most recently appeared on Royal Pains and Parks and Recreation.
