Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
ABC Family has acquired the television rights to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and Part 2, the network announced Monday.
Part 1 of the epic finale, which earned $125.1 million domestically in its premiere weekend, will debut on ABC Family in Spring 2013. Part 2, which hits theaters on July 15, 2011, will follow in Winter 2013.

"Our viewers have come to know ABC Family as the television destination for the Harry Potter films," Tom Zappala, executive vice president of acquisitions and scheduling for ABC Networks said in a statement. "They're enormously beloved by our audience and the world over."
With the acquisition of the final two Potter films, ABC Family now has the rights to all eight movies in the franchise.
