Charlie’s Angels' New Angels Don't Feel Pressure to Live Up to the Past

Charlie's Angels has seen a number of faces take on the duties of a crime-fighting angel: Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack, Tanya Roberts, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Demi Moore.

Now, Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor will join the ranks of their near-exclusive club — one that comes with both halos and fighting skills and even a billionaire boss. The three new angels certainly have some big high heels to fill, but they, along with a much fitter and younger John Bosley (Ramon Rodriguez), are ready for the challenge.
"I don't think there's too much pressure because we're not imitating or filling anyone's shoes," Kelly tells TVGuide.com.

The Friday Night Lights star plays Eve French, a street racer who actually joins the already established angels Abby Sampson (Taylor), a former thief, and Kate Prince (Ilonzeh), an ex-Miami cop, in the series premiere. Each girl has a sordid past, but together they take down the bad guys per instructions from that infamous little voice box with the their boss Charlie on the other end of the line.
