The show, starring Kelsey Grammer, will halt production after filming the show's 10th episode. ABC has no immediate plans to air the five remaining episodes.
A combination of comedy repeats and holiday specials will fill Hank's Wednesday slot over the next few weeks.
Hank was the only traditional sitcom among ABC's Wednesday block of single-camera comedies. The network's other three new comedies, Modern Family, Cougar Town and The Middle, have all been picked up for a full season.
