Devious Maids is an adaptation of a Mexican soap about four maids with ambitions and dreams of their own who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Ortiz, whose credits include Ugly Betty and Hung, will play Marisol, an intelligent and dignified woman who takes up work in an upscale neighborhood to gain info on her son's case; he was recently convicted of murder. As previously announced, Dania Ramirez will also star.
