Las Vegas hottie Josh Duhamel recently tore his Achilles tendon in what an NBC rep characterizes as a "sports-related injury." As reported in an upcoming issue of ABC Soaps In Depth magazine, Las Vegas producers are writing the actor's injury into the show. Apparently, his security whiz character gets shot in the leg. MSNBC has muzzled Pat Buchanan. The struggling cable news net axed the conservative politico's talk show Buchanan & Press, although a rep says both Buchanan and Bill Press will continue to serve as contributors. read more

A REAL FIASCO

San Diego police are investigating claims that a 22-year-old visitor to MTV's latest Real World house was date raped in one of its camera-free bathrooms. The alleged victim told authorities that an acquaintance of Real World cast member Randy drugged her, took her to the house and raped her on Nov. 15. Cops searched the house, seizing tapes from the house cameras, a stash of porn mags and seven whiny brats. read more

IN DEFENSE OF MICHAEL

One more Jacko item: Celeb choreographer Wade Robson, 21, told Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper that he visited Neverland Ranch when he was a kid and also slept in the same bed as the embattled singer. "But," he added, "nothing strange happened." read more

PROJECT REDLIGHT?

HBO has nixed a third season of Project Greenlight, but producers are thisclose to signing a deal to bring the acclaimed series to NBC-owned Bravo. Phew, that was a close one. read more

BIG FAT NEW GIG

Fresh off that Lucky setback, John Corbett has been tapped to star in an untitled ABC drama pilot set at a luxury hotel in the Bahamas. Corbett will play the hotel's manager. read more

BLUE GRAD REASSIGNED

NYPD Blue alum Nick Turturro is joining the cast of NBC's Third Watch for a four-episode run, Variety reports. He'll play Alie Nardo, the son of a mob boss. read more

MIDSEASON SHUFFLE

Donald Trump's NBC reality gamble The Apprentice will air Wednesdays at 8 pm/ET beginning Jan. 14. Ed moves to Fridays at 9 pm/ET during January and February, where it will replace a hiatus-bound Miss Match. NBC, however, insists the Alicia Silverstone dramedy will return to the schedule in March. We'll believe it when we see it. read more

JUDD MARRIES

Wynonna Judd, who was arrested earlier this month and charged with drunken driving, married her longtime bodyguard D.R. Roach on Saturday in Leiper's Fork, Tenn. It's the second marriage for both. read more

CAUGHT ON TAPE

Speaking of Michael Jackson, a Superior Court judge Tuesday issued a temporary order barring Santa Monica-based XtraJet from releasing secret videotape of the self-proclaimed King of Pop conferring with attorney Mark Geragos as they flew from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara for his surrender. The video — which featured no audio — allegedly showed Jackson appearing relaxed and calm as he taught Geragos how to moonwalk. read more
