Did Entourage Have Too Many Special Guest Stars?

Entourage's season finale featured almost as much star wattage as the MTV VMAs, airing at the same time as Sunday's episode. Eminem, Minka Kelly, Ryan Howard, Drew Brees, Mark Cuban and Christina Aguilera all stopped in to help set up the series for its final season.

But as Jump the Shark fans well know, guest stars can be a sign of strength or weakness. It makes sense for a Hollywood-set show like Entourage to feature plenty of celebrity walk-ons — Sasha Grey has even stuck around for the season. But do you ever wish the show would focus less on guests and more on its core characters? Or does Entourage blend the two just perfectly?
