Is Vera Wang poised to add some style to Dancing with the Stars?
The fashion designer has signed on to compete in Season 9 of the ABC hit, a source tells E!.
ABC does not comment on casting rumors, and Wang's rep did not immediately return TVGuide.com's call.
Should Wang, who turns 60 on June 27, find her way onto the parquet, she has a secret weapon at her disposal. Before she crafted wedding gowns, Wang trained as a figure skater and competed at the 1968 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Lest we forget, 1992 Olympic figure-skating champ Kristi Yamaguchi took home the Mirrorball trophy during Season 6.
Season 9 of Dancing premieres Monday, Sept. 21 at 8 pm/ET. The full cast will be revealed later this summer.
