Dancing with the Stars, Steve-O, Steve Wozniak
At this rate, they may have to crown the Season 8 Dancing with the Stars champion by default.
Jackass/gentleman-wannabe Steve-O and Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak are both nursing injuries that could put their Dancing futures in jeopardy. Steve-O is suffering from pinched nerves and spasms in his back, while Wozniak has a two-week-old foot fracture.
"My back is not cool," Steve-O told Access Hollywood. "We had a physical therapist come work on me a little bit and she said everything is messed up. ... But I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure this salsa on Monday goes great!"
Steve-O and partner Lacey Schwimmer received a 17 for their waltz on the premiere. Wozniak and pro Karina Smirnoff earned a 13 for their cha-cha, the lowest score of the night. They are to dance the quickstep on Monday's show.
"If the pain gets worse than before, I'm going to do the right thing," said Wozniak, who's wearing a boot.
Meanwhile, Sex and the City star Gilles Marini, who led the pack with a score of 24, has suffered a separated shoulder, but plans to remain in the competition. Marini was previously diagnosed with tendonitis in his shoulder and groin.
Jewel and Nancy O'Dell were the season's first casualties. Both withdrew prior to the premiere due to injuries.
