Mya, Dancing With The Stars

Mya received stitches for a deep cut in her hand Sunday night, reports People — but she'll still appear on the ninth season premiere of Dancing with the Stars (Monday, 8/7c, ABC) with pro partner Dmitri Chaplin.

A source tells People that Mya reached for a glass of something to drink when the glass shattered in her hand. "Went [to] the hospital late last night [to] get stitches," she said on her Twitter account. "Deep cut from glass. Only caught [two] hours of sleep but feel great. Must be adrenaline."

A rep for Mya says she will perform on Tuesday when the ladies make their parquet debut.

Mya isn't the first Dancing with the Stars contestant to be injured this season. Tom DeLay's rehearsals with Cheryl Burke caused a pre-stress fracture in his foot.
